| Would you like to write a new poll, quiz, or game? It's really easy. All you need to
do is modify one of the examples,
using your favourite editor, or even MS Word. There's no programming. Test your new poll or quiz
online, then email it to CastingVote for
publication. CastingVote uses a new format to define votes, which looks like HTML, with
square brackets instead of angle brackets. This lets the CastingVote server run any poll
on the Web and by plain-text email.
If you want to design a poll in a few minutes, edit an existing example. Replace the
questions and messages, just entering text versions to save time.
If you have longer, and want your poll to look prettier online, then enter HTML
versions of some messages as well. CastingVote blocks some potentially dangerous features
of HTML, e.g. alt and scripting. Graphics are allowed, but please use files on your own
site and link to them.
